Trees

This was inspired by many such park paintings by Milind Mulick. This was kind of tough with most of the area in shadow and only a small portion in light. Not really happy with this, but not disappointed also. I need a name for this painting. Any suggestions??

Is this from a real foto ?
Interesting combination of old world/ rural (the attire, the dense undergrowth) with the new - the lamp-posts ..
I wonder where this is !

I like the nice green of the lanterns, umm are the lamp posts in front of the house bigger ?

and yess .. darrkk it is .. with a little bit of light.. so the title of the post should be precciousss

(no logic :P)

How about 'A walk in the park"? Great painting and yes, I can see the influence of Milind Mulick in this - well done!

Another creative painting Prabal! beautifully composed. For a title
"Promenade" seemed to cross my mind.

good work !
is this a scene from the lalbagh ?
I can see you have used darks boldly. That has brought about a nice contrast against the bright leaves. liked the overall composition too

Thanks Werner. Thank you Sreeni.

Gugun,
Good observation. But I had not intended it. :)
It is just an average park like Cubbon park in Bangalore where some random people are seen. And thats not a house, but some small huts that you see in parks.

Precious reminds me of LOTR.

Liz and Sadia,
Thank you so much. A walk in the park and Promenade are nice titles.

PC,
Thanks for noticing the use of darks.. This is not from lal bagh, but from a picture from net. But it does look like Lal bagh and Cubbon park too.

Lovely Painting! The use of light and dark is well seen. Those huts are so gud. And the transparency in lamp posts are amazing!

Very nice this work, Prabal, I like specially the light in the middle, with the two persons. The tittle? What about "Light and shadows" ?

A big hug.

Enrique.
