Painting finally

Hi friends. Thank you so much for your good wishes. My eye is good now and I finally I painted yesterday aftera gap of about 2-3 weeks. And it was outdoors. Was feeling a bit rusty and a little tight. So just tried to loosen up a bit on the painting. Probably went a bit too far in some places. I also did a quick sketch of two of my fellow artists. Hope you like them.

p.s. There was an article about the sketching group I belong to in newspaper yesterday. One of my paintings was also published. I dont have a physical copy as I dont get that newspaper, but since they are online its good. :). It is the second last painting in the article. To have a look click here.

Plein air @ NGMA 22nd April 2012

J'aime particulièrement la lumière qui illumine votre peinture ainsi que son atmosphère... Très joli travail.
Votre esquisse est également très belle.
Je suis heureuse d'apprendre que vous allez mieux.
gros bisous

Congratulations on the publication Prabal. The plein air work is great, especially the use of colour. They dont look like they have been done by a rusty hand.
Best wishes,

Glad you're back, with eyes functioning normally! I read the article. Your group sounds like great fun. Congradulations on the article. [The painting of yours they published is one of my favorites.]

Well clearly although you have had a break, you haven't gone at all rusty! I am really glad your eye is better and that you are back painting again. And it's lovely to see your pencil work too. What a fabulous sketch :0)

Merci Martinealison.
As summers are on here there is a lot of light all around.

Kathryn,
Oh thank you so much. That one is one my favorites too.

Sandra,
The proportions are a bit tipsy tourvy in the sketch, but I was happy with it as it was done quickly from life.

Prabal! I hadn't noticed you were back on line - missed it on my sidebar until now.

So glad your eye is a lot better. your rusty is pretty good from where I'm standing.

Well done on the publication - it's nice to get a bit of public recognition .

Glad to see you back; take care of yourself!
