Cricket @ Lalbagh

Last Sunday I was at Lalbagh again with my painting group. But this time it was more fun as my friend Ramesh Jhawar who had come to Bangalore for a few days also joined in.

Lalbagh becomes quiet a busy place on Sundays with families coming for an outing, photographers coming in to do some clicking, birdwatchers, late joggers, tourists etc pouring in throughout the day. But still there is enough place for everyone under the shade of huge green trees in Lalbagh. And people are often seen playing badminton, freezbee and even gully cricket in the cool shade.

By the way it has been raining quiet a lot here. And it is equally sunny when it is not raining. How is the weatheron your side??

Do keep well... And dont forget to visit Ramesh's blog to see his version of Lalbagh.

What a wonderful feeling of light you have captured here! And sun too - something we are really lacking here at the moment! Having just got over the wettest April on record, we are now having the coldest May!

Hi Prabal - I've already been over to Ramesh's place. I follow his blog.

Nice picture, I love the light dappling the grass. A nice calm fresh atmosphere.

I think it's getting near summer here, because the rain's getting warmer :0)

Have a nice weekend

Hi Prabal. Your painting is wonderful! The scene you have created is so real, I can hear all the people in the park enjoying themselves. As for our weather here on the west coast, it's been lovely and sunny, but apparently the rain will return tomorrow for most of the week.

Just beautiful Prabal. :) The impression of sunlight is so skillfully handled, I actually think I can hear the people all around me. :) I love it. And how fun to get to paint with your friends, don't think I've ever done that before.

P.S. our weather has been rainy as well, Bah humbug!!

Oh Sandra,
All the English people I have talked to they all like summers. I hope by now you are having some sun rays hitting you.
