The jumper

Here is my first horse painting. Since this was first I did it in a very small size. With more confidence I'll go for bigger size.
Hope you enjoy it.

Title - The Jumper
Size - 6 x 10 inch
Medium - Watercolor on paper

What a coincidence, Prabal! I am drawing my first horse at the moment!

Mine is pulling a cart!! Yours looks far more active.

I'm impressed!

Fan-freakin-tastic Prabal! More ponies please!! :) Really love the movement and colors in this piece. And you did a great job with the legs which are dead difficult in my opinion. :D

Just want more ! A good balance between precision and looseness which product the movement.

Oh wow, this is amazing!! It looks so full of life and movement! And I love how the light catches the folds on his clothes. Your first horse is a clear winner :0)

John,
When my horse becomes a little older he too will be pulling a cart. LOL. I am waiting to see your horse now. :)

Kathryn,
That is realy great encouragement as it comes from the owner of Bruno.

Ramesh, Carol,
Thank you guys.

Crystal,
I really wanted to know what your comment would be since you paint horses like magic. I am thrilled that you liked it. :)

Lydie,
Since it was a new subject I was aware that I would become too tight. So every now and then I reminded myself to be loose by spattering some paint around. I am glad it seemed to have worked to get the movement here.

Oh Hilda,
I am sure your horses will be at least twice better than this. Thank you for your kind comment.

Sandra,
I guess the name of the horse was 'Winner'. LOL. I am really happy you liked it. :)
