War memorial - RIMC

This is the war memorial at my school. This monument is shaped like a mother holding her child in her arms. Seen from here are the dormitories where I lived five great years of my life.

A wonderful tribute to a place where you spent most of your formative years.. this gratitude to remember your school is a great feeling.. you have covered so many aspects that gives it a broad perspective, good job Prabal!

I've taken note of your comment on my recent post, the next couple of months are very busy for me but will make another version of it.
Have a great summer!

AK Sir,
I am sure you appreciate. I have stood many a times in front of it during guard of honor.

Sadia,
Thanks for your comment. I hope you do the second version. I'll wait for it.

It's just beautiful Prabal, I love it :) The thing i like most (other than the concept which is just awesome) is the dark foliage against the white of the memorial. Love it!

Prabha,
Absolutely.. What is not painted here is actually the hero of the painting..

Sundararajan,
Thank you for visiting my blog and liking this.. The illusion (of details) is complete. :)
