Takmachik

The place in this painting is Takmachik village in Ladakh. Alleys are always very nice to paint. And this one also had the perfect lighting along with very beautiful houses and those flower vases on the windows.

I'll be on a break for a week and hence will be absent from blogsphere. See you all after a week. Till then enjoy this one.

Title - Takmachik
Size - 22 x 16 inch
Medium - Watercolor on paper
Photo - Sudakshmina Mandal

Wow Prabal, I seem to have missed so much again!! Absolutely beautiful this one. Just everything about it - the composition, the shadows, that intense blue of the sky! And those amazing white walls. Also loved your doodles. Enjoy your break!

Anudeepa, Crystal
The subject itself was so beautiful that I really did not have to try.

PC,
Thanks for noticing that stone wall suggestion. I just added it quiet intutively and enjoyed doing that.
