Ideating at Baga

Title - Ideating at Baga
Size - 22 x 15 inch
Medium - Watercolor on paper

In December last year when I was in Goa with my friends most of our discussions would have a central theme. And that would be deciding the place to have our next meal. We were having one such discussion on Calangute-Baga road one morning when I saw a small group of people having some discussion on the other side of the road. I wonder what they were talking about, but it surely made a nice shot.

Very nice! It makes for a great discussion. I especially love the treatment of the tree.

Maybe they too were discussing where to go and eat!!
Just joking, your painting is lovely , being still cold here, it's so nice to see some summery scenes.

Thank you. :)

Sandra, Hilda,
Thank you ppl. The magenta/pink was not actually planned. While giving the first wash I put that color by mistake on the top left corner. Since it was already applied I decided to carry that color through to the bottom right corner too. :)

Thank you so much. Surely a nice place to have a chat. :)

Jane,
May be.. :)
I am glad you liked the painting. Goa will always give you lots of sun. Sometimes more than you want. :)

Thanks for the comment. I was trying to maintain color integrity throughout. :)

So nice to hear from you after a long time. I dont know what they had, but we had some really good sea food and a lot of beer that day. I am glad you enjoyed the paintings.

AK Sir,
Nice to hear from you after a really long gap. I am sure you are totally cut of from civilization right now. Thank you for your kind comment.

Wonderful work, Prabal. Love the colors especially the way the colors play in the shadows on the ground. Also you handled the light building brilliantly with all of those washes of beautiful color.
