Morning Mood

I have not posted in last 12 days, and it seems like ages. Its not that I have not been painting, its just that I did not have much to upload. I have been mostly doing studies, sketches etc of early morning scenes (early because it is before I wake up. :)). Two weeks back I had manged to wake up early enough to go around and get some pictures. I have been trying to get that mood onto paper. I am planning to do such scenes for sometime. So automatically it can be called a series and this is the first of the series.

Have a fabulous weekend friends.

So this is what morning looks like. lol. You know the hours I keep and I have gone to bed at this time. I am so attracted to those light posts...they are perfect!! The painting has great color and light, too.

Muy bueno este contraluz con esos naranjas que le dan cierta calidez , un saludo desde España.

Just beautiful Prabal. You have captured that feeling and then some. There's such atmosphere in this piece, can't wait to see the rest of the series. :)

Your use of light seems to get more and more remarkable with each painting you do! This is gorgeous! And there is such a clever feeling of distance too :0)

Just discovered your blog, Prabal. I do so admire your work.

The morning light in this picture is wonderful. The pedestrians crossing at their leisure ... that lull that only exists in early morning.

Many years since I was last in India. I will enjoy browsing your site.
