Plein air Sunday

After two weekends of no plein air painting it was great to get outdoors this weekend. The venue was a factory turned restaurant called Counter culture. It was a small place, but being the first to arrive on the spot I got the best place to sit and paint.

I wont say I did not like it when I finished it, but I was not like thrilled about it. But when I looked at it today I really liked it. This often happens in outdoor painting. When you are on the spot you never truly like your finished work. But when you are back home it starts looking better.

Hoping you would like it.

I love it, Prabal. All those gorgeous greens and lavenders and violets, with the wonderfully-shaped area of light coming through the painting - it's great!

Well I LOVE it! Indeed I do. Your work has so much atmosphere that just keeps getting better and better. Tis awesome! And I feel the exact same way about the pages in my sketchbook. While I'm doing them I kinda hate them but then I look back later and really like them. :)

It is gorgeous Prabal.
I am also the same. Sometimes I can really dislike a painting but then after spending time detatching from it, I can then all of a sudden like it! It happens with nearly everything I do :0)

Crystal,
Thanks a ton. And I guess we are not that bad artists as we think ourselves to be. That is why when we look at our works later it is okay. :)

Thanks Liana..

Kathy,
I got one family pack. Did you send them all. Thanks my friend from Indiana..

Hilda,
Thank you lady for your lovely comment. I appreciate it.

Felicity,
Thank you so much for the award. I am honored. All the logistics of these awards take a little time for me. So I may be a little delayed in doing the needful.

What really catches the eyes first is the gorgeous light Prabal, and afterwards all the lovely colors and the composition, you did an amazing work!
