Brass.. Yes it is..

First of all thank you guys for leaving a comment for me in the previious post. And thank you for reading the interview too. It means a lot to me.

Okay.. bad news first. I have not been keeping well for a few days. Had some respiratory problems. And I have not been painting. :(. But the good news is that I am getting better. It will take some time for me to get back. Till then I thought I'll post this work that I had done before I fell ill. This too was done from a live setup and the lamp used was the same one. With a molten shed. This time it did melt a little further. LOL. And yes they may not look like, but they are supposed to be brass artefacts as the title suggests.By the way that is my sis in the photograph and she is annoyed that I did a bad job of her photograph. :)

Anyway signing off now. Please wish me fast recovery. I need it and am sure it is going to help me.

Title : Composition with brass
Size : 11 x 15 inch
Medium : Watercolor on paper

I really like this Prabal. It has plenty of detail yet is not overdone. Excellent. And I hope you're feeling better soon.

I like so, so much these two still-lifes! I admire how you painted these complex scenes with minimum but decisive brushstrokes, without fiddling and fussing. Just enough detail where you need it The strong lights and darks make the 3-dimesiality perfect. Hope you get better quickly!

Well, firstly I LOVE the painting. It looks just like a cluttered corner and I love that it doesn't look 'arranged'. And the brass items are great! I have a brass object in my latest bear painting and I can't wait to paint it!
I like the books too and the loose way you have painted everything.
I am sorry to hear your feeling under the weather. I wish you a very speedy recovery :0)
