Bamboo zone..... Enter at your own risk.
While on a trip to Waynad (Kerala), I had taken this picture of a bamboo bush. The density of the bush and the random manner in which the leaves and the branches crowd the bush was very interesting to see. The play of light added that zing to the whole scene.
I wanted to capture that dense feeling of the bamboo bush in this painting. And of course the name 'Bamboo zone' is for exactly the same reason.

I like this! lots of movement. very nice. in response to your comment on the architecture, i like to paint architecture from a more artistic viewpoint, but, these paintings of homes that are mostly elevations is what the client wants. the client wants an accurate representation of their home.
bamboo stem colors are nicely done. doing details is tricky part of such paintings and think that you have done good job here
Liana, I am glad you liked my painting.
Ajay, thanks for the encouragement. Details seems to be my escape route as of now. :)

Rupesh, thanks. Passion is the only thing I possess as of now. I hope to acquire the talent some day too.
Arti, I was always scared of painting this. It took me about 6 months to make up my mind to paint it. And since you and other have liked it I think it was worth.
I'm glad you got up the courage... Very nice work!
Thanks Mineke. Your appreciation is always encouraging.
