I think both pieces are so very beautiful Prabal. I especially love the peanut guy in the foreground. That's pretty ballsy of him to just stand there don't you think? I think he kind of deserved to be immortalized by you. I like this better even though your story that goes with the first one is excellent :) I have been in Maisuru for the past couple of months and have only been brave enough to go around with my camera - not my paints! but I stand around for a few minutes pretending to be waiting for someone and sketch with my eyes and fingers behind my back - he he! besides thats all the time i have anyway since i am here to look after my MIL. I get a lot of questions too since they think its an odd scene to see a woman weilding the camera around town -- I look traditional indian but am not behaving like one :) more power to you and plein aire paintings :)
