A painting and the poster

Title - Arrived or Moving??
Size - 14 x 22 inch
Medium - Watercolor on paper

Last Sunday I did this painting and was using Indian handmade paper after a long time. The paper has a good texture and can take any amount of punishment. It has a few drawbacks too. But anyway I was painting very freely and confidently on this one and finished this painting in about an hours time. Really enjoyed doing this.

Unfortunately I'll not be taking this one for my exhibition as I may not be able to get it framed in time. But anyway I am also sharing with you the poster for my upcoming show. Hope you like it.

Prabal...great colors and isn't it amazing what you can get done in an hour and how sometimes it takes a few hours. I love this new piece. Come on over and I will frame it for you for FREE. lol

Love your poster, too. Good luck with your show.

How lovely and I love the colours in the walls. I have never been experimental enough with paper but hope to try some new types out in time. Love the poster too - How exciting!! :0)

Lovely combination of wet in wet and dry brush here Prabal. I particularly like the way you've pulled the darks of the roof down into the shadowed white wall of the centre building. The truck seems to have a smiley face, and looks as if it could carry horses!

Thank you Carol.

Kathy,
Actually I am more interested in pizza and the cookies you bake. So if you can promise me that I'll visit. :)

Sandra,
I generally keep trying new papers. Every paper has something new to offer and it also kills the monotony. Thank you for your wishes..

Frank,
Thank you so much.. The truck surely seems happy. But I am not sure about a horse, but a baby horse may be. :)

Karthyn Ragan (I hope I got your name correct),
Thank you very much for the wishes.

Yasha,
You should give a little time. handmade paper works out very well.

I love the new painting Prabal. :) And I can tell the paper's different, but I REALLY like it. It seems to show up your brushstrokes a little more which is very cool. Also the poster is AWESOME! Loved reading your words and bio. I wish you just so much luck with this (although I'm sure you won't need it, cuz you're awesome) and wish I could be there to see it. :D
