Outdoor works

I have not been painting since last two weeks and it is starting to get to me now. Firstly I was away and now when I am back there is loads of work piled up and it is getting difficult to manage some painting time. Till I paint my next piece I thought I'll post some of the plein air works I have done recently. Hope you enjoy them.

 At NGMA, Bangalore

At Museum Canteen, Cubbon Park, Bangalore

At Berhampur island in Chilika lake, Odisha

Hope you get back to the easel soon! And, as usual, these are great. Love that orange glow - you make watercolours sing.

Wonderful Prabal, I have a particular fondness for scenes with umbrellas in them, rain or shine.

I get verrrrry restless (and crabby my husband would probably say) when I'm away from painting for too long. I feel your pain! Here's hoping you get some time to paint in soon!

And I absolutely love your plein air pieces Prabal. They are so beautiful. The top one really seems to have a fresh feel to it. :)

Pat,
Someone said the only thing that one paints while painting a landscape is light. Thank you for your kind comment.

Thanks Arti. As I said I hope I'll be able to go tomorrow for the outdoors.
