Another Rocky painting

This is one of the obscured doors of the old quilla (fort) in Delhi. Yet another 'rocky' painting after 'mystic Udaygiri'.

A couple of days later

Well I just could not give up so soon. My disappointment with previous attempts lasted only a couple of days and I was again excited about doing my next painting. I had taken this photo at Udaygiri caves at Bhubaneswar and the afternoon light shining through the pillars created a very 'mystic' feeling. The outcome of attempting to paint the light was satisfactory. I was thrilled all over again about water colours.
