Liz, No no thats not me on the bicycle. If you look closely, beyond the closed doors of the biulding on the right a person is happily sleeping.. And thats me.. :)
India is virtually out now.. I hope SA makes it. At least I can support your team.
Carolann, Long time..Thanks for your comments. I always feel happy when someone says, 'I can feel...'.
Kathy, Those carts are called cycle rickshaws.. And the one to the extreme left are known as auto rickshaw.. They have 3 wheels. The former is manually operated (using legs of course :)) by the rider while the later is a motorized one. If you come to India a ride on these are a must.. And these are public transport vehicles..
PC, The paper was tinted and it was of a warm color. I just thought cool colors will not actually do justice to the paper. So ended up using a complete warm color scheme.

Is that you there on the bicycle?? Lovely warm colours - already a haze settling on the city. Lovely Prabal.
SA played like India did the other night!! What is happening?
great painting - can almost feel the atmosphere and hum of the city
I love the composition and the color harmony. What are the carts(?) with the big wheels?

Such fantastic work Prabal. The sky is beautiful and you have captured the feel of life in the city so well. It's just amazing, one of my favorites!
